KALLE SAUERLAND is calling on fans for guidance when it comes to the third season of the World Boxing Super Series. The promoter expects the new season, with weight divisions “between one and three,” to begin in the first half of 2021.
Sauerland, which is in the early stages of planning, said boxing news There are currently five potential tournaments in play: heavyweight; light heavyweight; medium weight; flyweight/super flyweight; and women’s super featherweight.
The next stage of development is to assess exactly what fans want. When you have this information you will formulate your proposal and take it to the WBSS Board.
“It’s more important than ever for fans to have a voice,” Sauerland explained to B.N.. “Tell me what you want. Don’t worry about politics, promoters and announcers or what fights are already in the planning stage. We have overcome substantial obstacles before and we will do so again.
“Call me the Bob Geldof of boxing!”
