Melissa Gorga can officially add cookie connoisseur to her resume now that she’s launched her own sprinkle cookie company, Sprinkle MG.

In an exclusive interview with My WeeklyGorga, 45, talked about what inspired her to embark on this new venture. “Everybody knows my absolute favorite is brownie cookies,” the Bravo star, 45, said. Our. “We had that iconic scene (at Real Housewives of New Jersey) and I’ve always wanted to come up with my own – it’s been a long time coming.”

Like loyal RHONJ Fans know that Gorgina’s preference for Italian sweets was revealed during Season 3 when Gorgina’s sister-in-law, Teresa Giudicehe remembered being thrown out box of cookies which the then-pregnant Gorga brought home on Christmas Day. (The incident that inspired the TikTok sound was just one of many that contributed to their ongoing problems.)

Since then, “everywhere I go, people give me cookies, (whether it’s at book signings or when they come to Envy,” Gorga continued. “When we go to Dolores(CataniaBattle for Brooklyn baseball games, everyone raises ‘Team Sprinkle’ (sign).

Gorga spent nearly two years searching for the right baker to partner with to create the best possible product. “It was all about having an amazing tasting cookie that makes people (say), ‘That was the best buttery cookie I’ve ever had, and I’m going to have it again,'” she explained. “So there was a lot of work and back and forth, (to) create the perfect cookie — and now we definitely have it.”

According to the reality star, she has big plans for expansion — “I’m looking into (creating) a sprinkle cake and maybe a crumb cake with sprinkles” — and customers will also be able to customize their orders: “We’re going to have different colors, so if you want to bring baby cookies , will be pink and blue (options).

Melissa’s husband, Joe Gorgahas already given his consent. “Obviously he’s been eating Italian pastries his whole life so he’s a picky eater,” the mother-of-three said. WITH RHONJ currently on hiatusMelissa stays busy, hosting the “On Display” podcast and running both Envy locations in Ridgewood, New Jersey and Huntington, New York. She is also in the midst of planning the festivities for her annual Christmas Eve party. “It’s a big deal for me,” she said. “Last year Christmas carolers came to my door. I have Santa show up with presents for all the little kids – I go above and beyond.”
