One of Sean “Diddy” CombsAlleged victims are opening up for the first time about being sexually assaulted by the rapper.
Anonym John Doewho filed a complaint against Combs in October, shared his experience with CNN on Tuesday, December 10. His voice and face were obscured for the interview.
According to Doe, the alleged assault occurred in 2007 while he was working for a private security firm that was hired one from Diddy’s White Party in The Hamptons. (CNN reports that Doe’s original complaint was about an incident that took place in 2006; Diddy’s White Party was held in St. Tropez that year. Doe’s lawyer has since amended the complaint.)
In response to the CNN story, Diddy’s team released the following statement My Weekly on Wednesday, December 11: “Mon (advocate Tony) Buzbee was exposed this week for pressuring clients to bring false cases against Mr. Combsand after public records showed that—contrary to his allegations—there was no white party in the Hamptons in 2006, Buzbee amended that complaint to retract the allegations and now claim it was a different day and a completely different year.”
During his interview with CNN on Tuesday, Doe recalled feeling “some effect after his ‘first drink'” at the party. At first he thought the drinks were “really strong”.
“It wasn’t until the second drink — and it was too late — that I realized there was something wrong with the drinks,” the plaintiff claimed during his interview with CNN. “Unfortunately, Sean Combs was waiting in the wings.
Doe said he was “unable to stand,” he recalled two drinks felt more like 15. He added: “It was just an amazing level of incompetence that I had never experienced before and I felt helpless.”
Diddy was reportedly “watching from some vantage point” at the party.
“Once I was in a powerless position and he was sure he was in a position of power, then he took advantage of the situation,” Doe claimed, adding that Diddy pushed him into the car before the alleged attack.
“I was screaming, telling him to stop,” he recalled. “It was incredibly painful and he acted like it was nothing and seemed disconnected from it. But it was incredibly offensive.”
Doe claimed that “one high-profile” guest at the party witnessed the alleged incident and “thought it was amusing.”
Doe also told his supervisor at the private security firm about the alleged attack, but his concerns were “allayed”.
“He didn’t talk to me after that, he cut me out of everything,” Doe said of his former boss. “I was completely blacklisted after that. I had to find another field.”
Doe also told CNN that the alleged assault led to the collapse of his marriage, but court documents filed in October indicated that Doe was never married. CNN reported Tuesday that Doe’s attorney has since filed to amend the complaint.
Diddy was arrested in September on charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He has vehemently he denied all the charges against him and remains in prison.
“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defense and the integrity of the judicial process.” read the statement on My Weekly in October. “The truth will prevail in court: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, male or female.”
