Not even a broken leg could stop him Kim Kardashian from the Skims flagship store launch celebrations!
The The Kardashians star, 44, was seen using a scooter at the opening of her clothing brand’s New York store on Thursday (December 12) after recently breaking her left leg.
Kardashian wore an all-white ensemble for the occasion, including a white bustier top and white heels, proving you can’t keep a good fashionista down. She wore her hair long and flaunted her bangs. The Skims co-founder even posed with her left foot resting on a scooter in front of the new store.
Kardashian shared the news of her broken leg via her Instagram stories on December 6 AND! News. She posted a photo of her leg in a medical boot and wrote: “FML broken leg for the holidays”, although she did not share any further details about her injury.

Skims’ new store on Fifth Avenue is the latest milestone for the shapewear and apparel brand, which was valued at $4 billion last year. WWD. According to the outlet, the new site — which used to be a Versace store — spans 6,570 square feet over four floors. The store has a room designed for collaboration, a VIP area, office space and will employ around 175 people.
“It’s a really proud moment. We obviously had high hopes when we started Skims, but I never thought about retail and what it would look like. … We’ve been very focused on direct customers and everything online. So the Fifth Avenue store will exceed any expectations I had,” Kardashian said WWD in an interview published on Wednesday, December 11.
“The store has this high gloss mixed with monochromatic colors and materials and different textures and everything is embossed like our logos,” Kardashian described the store.
“Two days ago, I was up in the middle of the night on FaceTime and the girls were at the store … and we were reorganizing everything,” she continued. “I started my first job in retail. So my favorite thing, I would always steam all the goods in the back. So I asked them to hide some pieces for me so I could steam them.’
