Ekster’s Stylish Wallet is Pocket-sized Perfection

If you’re worried about losing your wallet, you can buy a tracker card for an additional $49. I chose to Android versionworks with the Chipolo network to show the last known location of your wallet on a map. There’s also an iOS version that works with Apple’s Find My network. Like everyone else best followersboth versions allow you to call your wallet from your phone, which is ideal when you have a train to catch and your wallet slips between the couch cushions. You can even set lagging alarms, so you get a ping when the wallet goes out of range of your phone.

Battery life is up to six months for the iOS tracker and around three months for the Android version. You can plug in the iOS model to charge, but the Android tracker has a small solar panel to charge it. They are as thick as several cards and fit snugly in the back pocket. I have never lost my wallet.

More Minimalist

While the Exter Parliament is my favorite, I have tested some of Exter’s other models. The Cardholder and Cardholder Pro ditch the leather exterior for a sleeker look and come in some fun colors and patterns like faux magma and carbon fiber. They retain the trigger and other features and are perfect if you prefer to travel as light as possible. I have gifted a pair and my oldest son uses the Ekster Card Holder and loves it.

When you choose a minimalist wallet like this, space is limited and there is no room for coins and only limited space for bills. But there are optional extras. Modular attachments include a multi-tool card ($49)a money clip back plate ($29)and a coin tray ($29). The coin holder is convenient enough and can also accommodate a key, but you won’t want to add too many extras or your wallet will pile up.

Finally, the Exter Parliament has been in my inner pocket for several years now and still works perfectly. I never miss my old wallet and enjoy pulling that trigger every time I reach for my card. The tracker also came to the rescue several times, assuring me that I had left my wallet in my other jacket, not somewhere else. It’s a bit pricey, but this might be the last wallet you ever have to buy.
