Every ‘DWTS’ pro who has won the mirror ball more than once

When Dancing with the stars for Jenna Johnson and a former bachelor Joey Graziadei In November 2024, Johnson joined a small group of professionals with multiple wins.

Even more impressively, her two wins came within a span of just eight seasons – she also won in a season 26 with Adam Rippon — the fewest total seasons of all to win DWTS more than once.

“I am so, so grateful. This has been my favorite season ever,” Johnson enthused after her 33rd season win. “To be able to share this moment with Joey and now have one of these (trophies) to share forever, it’s crazy.”

Seven other professionals have won it all multiple times. Derek Hough picked up the Mirrorball six times (his sister, Julianne Houghhe did it twice). Meantime Johnson’s husband, Valentin Chmerkovskyhe has three trophies.

Derek Hough

The Dancing with the stars The GOAT conversation starts and ends with Derek winning the Mirror Ball Brooke Burke (season 7), Nicole Scherzinger (season 10), Jennifer Grey (season 11), Kellie Pickler (season 16), Amber Riley (Season 17) a Bindi Irwin (Season 21).

Derek left the show after season 23 and returned as a judge for season 29.

Mark Ballas

Ballas was a mainstay Dancing with the stars from seasons 5 to 22, winning the show twice in that span — both times with Olympic athletes. He took the title with a former figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi in season 6, then with a former gymnast Shawn Johnson in Season 8. He returned to the franchise in Season 25, then picked up his third win in Season 31 when he was paired with Charlie D’Amelio.

Valentin Chmerkovsky

Chmerkovskiy first appeared on Dancing with the stars in Season 2, but did not appear as a professional until Season 13. He picked up his first win in Season 20 alongside Rumer Willis and followed it up in season 23 with a gymnast victory Laurie Hernandez. His last victory came in the 2023 season with 32 Xochitl Gomez.

Cheryl Burke

Burketwo-time winner, won the Mirrorball Trophy in her first two attempts: season 2 s Drew Lachey and season 3 with Emmitt Smith. Since then, she has appeared on the show 23 times. Burke finished second in seasons 8 and 13 and third four times.

Julianne Hough

Similar to Burke, Julianne won her first two seasons. She appeared in seasons 4 through 8, winning 4 and 5 s Apollo Fire and Helio Castronevesrespectively

Jenna Johnson

Jenna didn’t start competing DWTS to season 23, but she’s made up for lost time two wins in eight years since its debut. In addition to wins with Rippon in season 26 and Graziadei’s season 33, she also has a pair of second places to her credit, meaning she has reached the final in half of her total appearances.

Kym Johnson

It lasted Kym Johnson several attempted to capture this fleeting title, but she finally won her first Mirrorball Trophy in her seventh season in partnership with Donny Osmond for Season 9. Just two performances later, she did it again, winning the s Hines Ward in season 12. She also won the Australian version Dancing with the stars in season 2.

Murgatroyd made her debut as a member DWTS professional cast in season 13, but was eliminated with a partner Metta world peace in one night. She bounced back the next year to win Season 14 Donald the driver. She won again with Nyle DiMarco in season 22.
