Jude Law Teases Nancy Meyers About ‘The Holiday’ Sequel

Just in time for Christmas Jude Law gives its character from “Holiday” some love

He wrote and directed the festive film from 2006 Nancy Myers and Law, 51, stars alongside him Cameron Diaz, Jack Black and Kate Winslet.

Myers, 75, caught up with Law for lunch after the actor received a major career milestone — a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, California. Meyers shared a video of Law on social media where the two teased a return to the holiday classic.

“Congratulations Jude! ⭐️,” Myers captioned the video shared via Instagram on Thursday, December 12. “I was excited to be at Jude’s lunch today and I had one question for him…”

In a clip shared from the luncheon, Meyers slowly slides across a white tablecloth to Law, who is seated across from her. The two sat on either side between a dessert parfait and a glass of champagne, Law wearing a beige suit.

“Look who I’m having lunch with today,” she said in the video. “Congratulations on your well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That’s amazing.”

Law received the prestigious honor with his two children, Rafferty, 28, and Iris, 24, and his wife Phillipa Coan, who attended Thursday’s ceremony.

“Thanks, Nancy,” Law said in return. “It’s so nice to see you. Myers then remarked how long it had been since the two had seen each other.

“Nice to see you,” she said. “I don’t think I’ve seen you since we packed up. Holiday.

Myers then began asking about a possible sequel to the acclaimed film, saying, “Speaking of which, I’ve seen a lot of interviews with you and they keep asking you if there’s going to be a sequel, what do you think?”

Law sighed before repeating her question saying, “Will there be a sequel?” The The young pope Star then picked up a white cloth napkin, placed it on his head and put his glasses on the napkins.

The British star was referring to a scene from the film where Law’s character pretends to be a character called “Mr. Napkin Head” to entertain your kids.

Myers continued to tease the sequel by responding to his antics, “Is that so, Jude?”

This earned a response from fans Holiday who were excited about the possibility of a second film.

“I actually can’t handle it,” one person wrote in the comments, while another said: “Nancy this is not funny!!! You better not mess with us!
