Jason Kelce is the latest celebrity to receive a similar pageant makeover.
Dozens of bearded individuals gathered in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square Park in hopes of being crowned Kelce’s lookalike on Saturday, December 14th. The former Philadelphia Eagles center (37) subtly acknowledged the incident via social media.
Shortly after the competition, Kelce changed his X profile picture to a picture of one of the event’s competitors. Although the individual Kelce chose to honor bears a strong resemblance and made it into the top three, a man named Paul Crossley earned the biggest applause from the crowds of fans.
“I’m Jason Kelce,” Crossley joked after his win clip from social networks from Philadelphia Sports Blog Transition plate. In addition to sharing similar traits to Kelce, Crossley channeled the athlete in a sweatshirt, baseball cap and jeans.
Good-natured Kylie Kelce approved of a fan joke about her children’s resemblance to husband Jason Kelce. Crossley told local news NBC10 Philadelphia there was “very stiff competition” in Saturday’s race. “A lot of the guys looked exactly like me to be honest so it was a bit weird,” he said. “But everyone came and had a good time and here we are. We all pulled together, all Jasons, and they were great. They were great competitors.”
Philadelphia has been home to other recent similar celebrity pageants, including one for the Pennsylvania native Miles Teller and the Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
While Crossley may have been crowned Kelce’s unofficial twin, fans have previously pointed out similarities between Kelce and several characters from the Christmas classic. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
“There’s a tweet about me that a lot of you may have seen. About a million of you, actually,” Jason said on a December 2023 episode his and his brother Travis Kelce‘with “New Heights” podcast with a link to the viral tweet it was compared to Rudolphis Sam the Snowman.
“I always looked like Yukon Cornelius. That’s the one everyone always (says),” he added. “And it’s from the exact same movie, so I was shocked when it got so much steam because that’s what I’ve always gotten.”
Jason claimed that their father, Ed Kelcehe looked more like Snowman Sam than him, which Travis, 35, agreed “a thousand per cent”.

Jason is not the only member of his family to receive similar comparisons. Earlier this month Kylie Kelce she joked that she was “a bit offended” online fans think she and Jason’s three-year-old daughter Ellie looks like Travis. (The couple, who married in 2018, also have daughters Wyatt, 5, and Bennett, 21 months, and are currently expecting their fourth child.)
“I was blonde, I had one dimple. I feel like Ellie could look like mum,’ said Kylie, 32 December 4th teaser for her new podcast, “Not Gonna Lie.” She added: “If we could jump off the whole ‘Ellie looks like Travis’ train, we’d really appreciate it because that’s the only one I have any chance of claiming as far as looking alike.”
