Kim Kardashian he’s keeping up with his shoe game—despite his broken leg.
The Skims founder took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Dec. 17 to share a photo of the high-heeled cast, complete with a perfectly polished bright red pedicure, but of course.
Many called the move “innovative” and gave her props for being committed to the submission.
“When you break your leg but still want to go out,” joked one user. Others predicted that casting would become the new trend. “Always ahead of his time in the fashion world,” one fan wrote, while another added: “This is going to be the new trend.”
Some have even wondered if the cast is a new design from Kardashian’s collaboration with Balenciaga, or perhaps a potential hint at her next Skims collection.
Kardashian, 44, first shared news of her broken leg on Friday, Dec. 6, when she posted a photo of her leg in a cast and on crutches. FergieThe song “Clumsy” was playing in the background.
“FML,” she wrote alongside an Instagram photo with a cursing emoji. “A broken leg for the holidays.”
Less than a week later, Kardashian hopped on a plane from Los Angeles to New York to attend the star-studded opening of her Fifth Avenue flagship store Skims.
On Thursday, December 12, she stopped by the Skims store in Midtown, New York in cream. Chrome Hearts custom file with a plunging neckline and fitted trousers. Despite her illness, she wore translucent heels (on both feet) and rode a black scooter. A matching mini bag hung on the handlebars.
Fans praised her for handling the injury, in heels no less. After all, no one knows better than the Kardashians that sometimes you have to get off your ass and work — or screw up.
