Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards does not agree that her estranged husband, Mauricio Umanskymaybe going through a midlife crisis.
Kyle’s girlfriend and former housewife turned guest star Camille Grammer made a joke about Mauricio having a mid-life crisis during the year Tuesday, December 17, part from RHOBA when they discussed Kyle’s separation from her husband.
Well, Kyle, 55, seems to think the same.
“There’s probably some truth to that,” Kyle told the costar Erika Jayne on Tuesday RHOBH after show. “I mean, I’d tell him to his face, which I actually have. . . . Watching him go through this, there were times when I thought, ‘This is giving me the vibe of a major midlife crisis.’
One such example is Mauricio, 54, who Kyle says is going through a midlife crisis? “Right down to the car he bought for our house in Aspen, which I call the ‘mid-life crisis mobile,'” she said.
“It’s just a big monster truck … the exterior is rough (and) sandpaper and it has these big wheels,” Halloween kills the star explained. “It’s like a monster coming through town. Everyone’s staring and you’re like, ‘Oh, God’.”
Kyle and Mauricio separation after 27 years of marriage was a big focal point RHOBA 14th season. Viewers saw Kyle living alone after Mauricio moved into his own “bachelor house,” as she revealed on Tuesday’s episode of the Bravo reality show.
On Tuesday, December 3, part RHOBAKyle met Mauricio at their former home in Beverly Hills to discuss their future. Kyle explained in the confessional that her estranged husband signed a six-month lease on the apartment after they separated in July 2023.
“I have yet to go see him,” Kyle said on Dec. 3 RHOBH after show. “He actually asked me out a few times. It just didn’t work out yet — I was out of town, I had plans, and then the Jewish holidays just passed and I was like, ‘I have more room here.’ So I still have Jewish holiday dinners with his family.”
Kyle also reiterated her thoughts during the confessional that Mauricio buying furniture for his new place made the move seem “more permanent.”
He said, ‘I have to do it. I’m going to move out for six months and we’ll figure it out,” Kyle told Erike on the After the show. “So (I thought) I took it from there. And then suddenly he buys something. I think you’re buying another bed, another desk – I don’t think you go into it thinking it’s (permanent).
