Happy birthday, Christina Aguilera!
Pop star took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 18, for her 44th anniversary with a portrait above without. In the black-and-white image, Aguilera strikes a sultry pose, crouching on the floor sideways to the camera, her platinum blonde curls brushing against her bare shoulders. She wears a black leather press hat, black short shorts, strappy heels and dramatic makeup.
“Birthday suit no. 44,” Aguilera captioned her post.
Of course, her fans went crazy in the comments section.
“HAPPY LEGEND, BEST SINGER IN THIS F—— WORLD,” gushed one fan.
Another wrote: “Getting years older but looking younger is what I’m talking about!!!!”
Aguilera, who won five Grammys during her Y2K heyday, completed a nine-month residency in Vegas in August. Three months later she performed a surprising duet with Sabrina Carpenter during Carpenter’s Short ‘N Sweet Tour concert in Los Angeles.
At the time, Aguilera stepped into the venue in a black bustier and silver over-the-knee boots while belting out a vocal riff that opened a rendition of “Ain’t No Other Man.” Carpenter, 25, subsequently joined her in the spotlight to complete the social media number shots. They also sang Aguilera’s “What a Girl Wants”.
In November, Aguilera shared a rare picture of her family of four over Instagram. The Genie in a Bottle singer posed with her fiance, Matej Rutlerand her two children, son Max, 16, and daughter Summer, 10. (Aguilera welcomed Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman in 2008 and shares a summer with Rutler, 39.)
“On the way to school the other day with her dad (Summer), she said, ‘When I grow up, I want to be either my mom’s photographer or my mom’s manager.’ It’s so fun,” Aguilera said Fashion earlier this year. “That’s what we said Will.i.am that (when he came to see the show) and said, “Oh, my God, she’s your daughter.” So daughter-ager is the word of the year. It’s so cute.”
Aguilera talked about her journey with motherhood in an interview with Haute Living in 2019, explaining how she she balances her family and career to create a stable life for her children.
“For a long time, I made the decision not to do concerts for a while because I thought it was best to give my children a more stable and routine life,” she said at the time. “Even though I took my place on (Voice), it wasn’t really something I wanted to watch. I just decided, ‘It keeps me in LA and in a place where I can focus on my kids.'”
She added: “Pretty much everything I’ve decided to do has been influenced by (my children), but at the same time I have to make sure I don’t lose myself and always stay grounded in what’s important to me. me.”
