“I never regretted the decision to make the trial public”

Gisèle Pelicot told a crowd of journalists in court that she thinks about her children and grandchildren and all the other families and the victims of stories “often in the shadows,” stating that “we have the same struggle.”

He added that he never regretted having waived his right to anonymity and “opening the doors” to the trial so that society could see what happened.
