Real Housewives of New Jersey‘with Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice won’t be handing out the cookie anytime soon.
On Wednesday, December 18, part See what happens live with Andy CohenMelissa, 45, shared her reaction to her sister-in-law and longtime rival Teresa, 52, appearing to take credit for her new cookie company. (After Melissa announced her new venture in December, Teresa shared a mysterious story X post that reads: “No start.)
Responding to a virtual fan who asked for her opinion, Melissa went on to say WWHL“Well, she’s welcome for giving her someone to hate in the last ten years. So she’s welcome!”
Melissa’s response prompted the host Andy Cohen say, “You’ve both done so much for each other.”
“I really do,” Melissa told Andy.
Melissa shared details about her new brand Sprinkle by MG in an exclusive interview with My Weekly earlier this month.
“Everyone knows sprinkled cookies are my absolute favorite,” he said Bravo star said Our. “We had that iconic scene (on The Real Housewives of New Jersey) and I’ve always wanted to come up with my own — it’s been a long time coming.”
Like loyal RHONJ Fans know that Gorga preferred Italian sweets during Season 3 when Teresa recalled throwing out a box of cookies that the then-pregnant Gorga brought home for her on Christmas Day. (The incident that inspired the TikTok sound was just one of many that contributed to their ongoing problems.)
“Everywhere I go, people give me cookies (whether it’s at book signings or when they come to Envy,” Gorga continued. “When we go to Dolores‘ (baseball battle of Catania over Brooklyn), everyone raises a ‘Team Sprinkle’ (sign).
From connection RHONJ during season 3, Melissa and Teresa’s ups and downs have dominated the show’s storyline for the past 11 seasons. However, the two refused talk to each other in season 14which aired earlier this year, prompting speculation about additional casting.
Melissa said she was ready to leave the show.
“I’m ready for anything at this point, obviously because of all the rumors that are coming out,” Melissa he said in the August episode “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast. “I am fully prepared for anything.
“I think I would realize that she and I are two extremely different characters, so to speak, on the show,” Melissa told the podcast hosts. Tamra Judge and Teddy Mellencamp. “So, if Bravo decides to go down that road and kind of a darker route, then I have to say, it’s not a show I want to be on anyway.
“I don’t want to be on that toxic st.” As long as you know it’s there and the whole thing would come back, I wouldn’t consider it a loss,” she continued. “I’d also like to say that I’ve had 14 years… You can’t do this forever. You’re not going to go and not be on a TV show for 50 (or) 20 years. I mean, I’ve been there for 14 years.”
Melissa continued, “So I want to go back? I hope they do something a little fresh and new? Of course I won’t lie to everyone. I hope there will be some changes and I don’t know that I will be a part of them. I don’t think anyone knows.”
As for the future RHONJproducer Cohen he said Our exclusively this week that there won’t be an update for a while. “You won’t get it in a year, so everyone stop asking,” he said. “And I keep saying you’re not getting anything, so stop asking!”
