Sixty-one-year-old Huger was found guilty of driving under the influence and four other charges on Wednesday, December 18, despite being acquitted of reckless driving. In police dashcam footage from the night of March 19, Huger can be seen sits in the passenger seat of a police vehicle and tells the officer that she is known as “Grande Dame” – a reference to her nickname RHOP – and that “Andy Cohen did it.” He continues, “I don’t know what the hell this is about.”

After he was taken to the local police station, the police camera shots then shows Huger seeming to disagree with the police officer, at one point referring to herself as “Thomas Jefferson’s concubine”.

Huger was charged with DUI, careless driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of a change of address in court Wednesday, for Fox 5 DC. (Us weekly asked Bravo to comment on the verdict.)

In March, Huger was involved in a car accident in Potomac, Maryland. Montgomery County Police he told TMZ at the time Huger was driving her 2017 Maserati in an “aggressive manner” in Potomac when she struck an intersection crosswalk and parking sign.

During her trial, police body camera footage showed an officer telling her she had been “hammered” as she appeared to slur her words. Fox 5 DC. Several witnesses testified during the trial, including an EMT who said Huger refused treatment at the scene of the accident and “wobbled” as she tried to get into an ambulance.

At the time of the accident, Huger said she was dealing with emotional distress.

“Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes during this very scary experience. I’m still in shock from yesterday’s incident, but I’m thankful to be alive today. With the passing of my beloved mother, grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mother’s Day approaching, it felt more like a tsunami,” Huger TMZ in the March statement. “Last night I met my girlfriend for dinner and we talked and discussed some very emotionally sensitive topics. I was crying on the way home and saw a car coming straight at me. I swerved to avoid a head-on collision, hitting a divider and then a tree. I’m hurt, a little bruised, but so thankful to be alive! I received citations, one of which was unrelated to the incident, which is understandable, but what surprised me the most was that the car that almost hit me had just left!”

She concluded: “I would like to emphasize the importance of understanding your emotional state while driving and let this be a reminder to everyone to wear seat belts, my mother may be my guardian angel but the seat belt saved my life.”

Huger is expected to be sentenced on January 29, 2025.
