Senate report calls US efforts to keep advanced chips away from China and Russia “inadequate”

In a letter to Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on Wednesday, Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut pointed to news reports of the Russian military continuing to acquire parts of Texas Instruments through front companies in Hong Kong.
