Married to Medicine‘with Quad Webb he no longer hides his knight in shining armor.
After keeping her boyfriend, Kingprivate for almost a year, the reality star is ready to introduce her man to the Bravo series and the world.
“For me, I move in silence,” the 44-year-old Quad told exclusively My Weekly earlier this month during the promotion Married to Medicine. “As for me keeping him to myself, our relationship was just us and I didn’t want outside influences or noise to affect us. Also, let’s keep it real. I had to make sure he was there for the right reasons.”
Since the show began in 2013, Quad has opened up her life to the Bravo cameras. Whether she is going through a divorce with Dr. Greg Lunceford or dealing with the breakup of friendships with some cast members, the women’s health advocate hasn’t shied away from sharing the good, the bad and the ugly of her reality.
However, at this time in her life, Quad feels good after starting a romantic relationship off-camera.
“I wanted to really get to know him, get to know his family and see if this is something that’s for the long haul,” she explained Our. “We see a lot of times that people jump into these relationships and it’s just these little micro relationships. It’s been three months and she’s new to social media. Then you’re six months in and he’s a new person and I’m just not up to it. I’d rather just wait for God to bring me my person and really take the time to create and develop that relationship before I bring it to the masses.”
During a recent episode Married to MedicineQuad was treated to a lavish birthday party courtesy of King, 41. Many cast members they were surprised to find out that their costar and friend was dating someone so special.
“I’m in Atlanta and I’ve never (seen) him with her, so at first we all thought maybe he was a surrogate husband,” Toya Bush-Harris he joked My Weekly earlier this month on DIRECTV’s “Christmas in Kathy” Hilton‘s party. “But when I tell you, when they look at each other, they look like they’re in love. It’s amazing.”
While Quad admits she may have “pissed off” some fans and colleagues for keeping her relationship private, she seems to have no regrets.
“It wasn’t their thing to begin with,” she explained. “I’ve never been so curious as to want to know who someone is sleeping with. I don’t care.”
As viewers keep watching Married to Medicine Quad admitted to learning more about King Our that the relationship took her by surprise.
However, on May 15, 2023, everything changed when “a light bulb just went off” and she decided to pursue a romantic relationship with King.
“We were reconnected by a mutual friend and I remember looking at him and saying, ‘You like me, don’t you?’ Quad said. “He’s fine. He is handsome. He is kind. His demeanor is really cool and I was really drawn to him the way he carries himself as a man.”
As their relationship continues to grow in Atlanta, Quad, who recently launched their SASS All Purpose Seasoning at Amazon — looks to the future and promises he has nothing to hide.
“Lord knows I’ve been through some things. It’s just timing,” she said. “I stayed in prayer and it worked itself out. Literally this man shows up and then the light bulb goes off. I thought he was so cool too.”
