“So I want to talk about something very briefly, it’s going to start with a very unpopular opinion,” Doute began. “I’m sure a lot of you have been keeping up with the James Kennedy news that I’ve been pretty quiet about.
Noting that her heart “beats as fast as I’m talking about it,” Doute said she doesn’t talk to Rachel “Raquel” Leviss “not at all,” but she “read some of the things she talked about” with regard to Kennedy. Doute added that she “resonated a lot with some of the things Rachel said recently.”

“I know I’ve said very little about James’ situation at this point,” Doute said on her podcast, adding that it was “for good reason.” Noting that it was “triggering” for her, she added: “I’ve been struggling to speak up to help with the healing and I’ve also needed a break to keep calm with this pregnancy.”
Doute added that she “has a few things to say” and will address them soon, saying: “For now, I want to say: To James Kennedy, domestic abuse is not a ‘difficult moment,’ and to Ally: I hope you get all the support you deserve.”
