Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) did not explain why their fight was canceled. Tank message: “The fight is fucking off.” Fans on social media have greeted the cancellation with joy. They don’t want to see this albatross, especially because it’s on PPV. They see it as a mismatch, as lightweight super featherweight Roach (25-1, 10 KOs) has no chance. This troubled fight had already been rescheduled once from the original December 14 date, and has been criticized by fans from day one.
