Jonathan Owens kisses Simone Biles’ cheek before the Bears vs. Lions

Jonathan Owens opened the Chicago Bears football game on Sunday, December 22nd with his customary kiss from his wife before kickoff, Simone Biles.

Biles, 27, met Owens, 29, on the sidelines of Chicago’s Soldier Field on Sunday afternoon before the match began, where she planted a sweet kiss on the Olympic gymnast’s cheek.

Biles showed up to watch her husband’s NFL team take on the Detroit Lions in a cozy-chic outfit. She wore a black crisp coat with a matching Prada fuzzy hat.

For glam, Biles braided her hair.

The gymnast and Owens have been married since April 2023 and are frequent supporters of each other’s careers. For Biles, he is a regular at Owen’s NFL games, where they are often share a kiss before kicking off.

Owens also enjoys cheering on Biles at gymnastics meets, even getting special permission to miss a few days of Bears training camp to watch her at the Paris Olympics this summer.

“You don’t have to do a lot of motivation, just because you don’t want to put extra, extra pressure on anybody,” Owens exclusively speaking My Weekly in July. “I just tell her, ‘Go do your thing, baby.’… As long as she’s there, she’s on the field, give her a kiss and we can go on our way.”

He continued at the time: “You get a different type of focus whenever you only have one person to focus on. And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with being single, but for me, I know myself, since then (meeting Simone) I’ve played a lot better, I’ve been focused and introverted and you come home, talk about my day and play with the dogs, you know what I mean? It’s just kind of our thing.”

Owens has come a long way since he didn’t even recognize Biles at first they crossed paths on Raya dating app in 2020.

“I was on (Ray) for a few days and then she showed up. I’m like, ‘Let’s see who it is,'” the NFL safety recalled on the December 2023 episode of “The Pivot” podcast. , what’s going on.”

When they first met, Owens played for the Houston Texans, who are based near Biles’ gymnastics training facility. After Biles and Owens tied the knot last year, they began building their dream home in the Lone Star State.
