Blake Lively she received public support from her famous friends and other Hollywood stars following news of her lawsuit Justin Baldoni.

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedmanclaimed in a statement to Our that Lively filed the lawsuit to “correct her negative reputation” and “remake the story” of what happened on the set of the movie. He went on to deny the “outrageous” claims, calling them “completely false” and “deliberately rude”.

“I hope my legal action will help pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and help protect others who may be targeted,” she wrote.

Paltrow showed subtle support for Lively by sharing the actress hair cosmetics Blake Brown brand via Instagram Stories shortly after the complaint made headlines. “Just added to my Christmas wish list,” she wrote on Dec. 20.

A day later, Hoover spoke out again, reposting the statement shared by Lively’s ex Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costars along with a long caption. Lively thanked Hoover by “liking” a post on Instagram.

Lively’s brother-in-law (and Roby’s husband) took to Instagram to support her.

“Her complaints were filed during the shoot. For the record. Long before the public conflict. The cast unfollowed him for some reason,” Johnson wrote in the comments The New York Times Instagram post dated December 21. “Read this article before you spew (sic) ignorance.”

Johnson admitted that “mistakes were made” along the way, before praising how Lively has been diligently working on films and launching various businesses while raising her four children with her husband. Ryan Reynolds. (He also credited Baldoni’s “crass and nasty but highly effective” PR strategy.)

“But yeah, let’s write from our couch how much we hate her for making mistakes,” Johnson continued. “That makes sense. I mean, she was rude in these conversations that magically repeated themselves. I saw it. None of us have ever been wrong or mistaken. Never. We should discount decades of good for those few bad moments. I’m glad the microscope isn’t on me every day of my life.’

The High School Musical alum too called Baldoni a “fraud” in a second statement shared via X on December 23.

“He puts on a hero ‘costume’, man bun and all,” Johnson wrote, referring to Baldoni’s “Man Enough” podcast. “He used all the buzzwords and buzz words for his podcasts.”

Johnson continued, “None of this is real.” It’s all theater. And everyone fell for it. For years. Play his videos with a more critical eye and watch him brag and praise himself with false humility and self-deprecation. What a performance.”

Cast of ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’

America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn and Alexis Bledel starred alongside Lively in two Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movies. They shared their support in joint statement on social networks posted on December 22.

“As Blake’s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand in solidarity with her as she fights the reported campaign to destroy her reputation,” the trio shared. “During the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her pluck up the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and her colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort to discredit her voice. “

The actresses continued: “Most disturbing is the shameless exploitation of the stories of victims of domestic violence to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is staggering. We are appalled that even a woman as strong, celebrated and resourceful as our friend Blake can face violent retaliation for daring to ask for a safe work environment.”

Ferrera, Tamblyn and Bledel noted that they were “inspired” by Lively’s courage. They closed the statement by encouraging fans to read Lively’s full complaint, which was published via The New York Times.

After Baldoni hired the same crisis PR team as Johnny Depp in the midst of his legal battle with Heard Aquaman actress addressed Lively’s lawsuit in a statement NBC News on December 23.

“Social media is the absolute epitome of the classic saying, ‘A lie goes half way around the world before the truth hits its heels.’ I saw it firsthand and up close,” she wrote. “It’s as terrifying as it is destructive.”

Heard was referring to her past relationship and subsequent lawsuit against ex-husband Depp. (Depp won a defamation suit against Heard in 2022 and was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.)
