The next version of Halide will come with new movie filters, HDR

Lux, maker of the iPhone camera app Halide, On Monday, it published a roadmap detailing the next version of the appNamed Halide Mark III, it will be released sometime next year.

The company said the Halide Mark III will ship with two new features: Color Grades and HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos. The company plans to include color gradations or filters that will make images look like they were shot with film cameras. Its video app already has a similar feature, It’s bad.

The app will also get a redesign to integrate new features into the UI. Note that Lux released the Halide Mark II in 2020.

Over the past few years, Lux has developed its own algorithms for various features in Halide, e.g super resolution for macro shotsand idle mode does not subject images to post-processing as much as possible.

The company has also started to operate Discord server For the community where Halide Mark III will post a Testflight link to try in early access before release.
