Hell is coming to Frogtown it has a simple premise that leaves very little room for interpretation while leaving plenty of room for one-note – and in some cases riotous – dance routines that will leave you equal parts stunned and awestruck.
A land government set up within fiction Hell is coming to Frogtown follows Sam Hell after he learns that he is one of the last men on earth unaffected by the sterile nuclear fallout that decimated society at the turn of the 21st century. Nurse Spangle (Sandahl Bergman), who oversees the government’s resettlement efforts, forces Sam’s hand to sign a convoluted contract that involves wearing an explosive vest that either shocks his pelvic area or explodes depending on the severity of his disobedience.
Although Sam receives a full pardon for the many crimes he committed prior to his capture, he is reluctant to become a breed whose sole purpose is to help repopulate Earth by mating with as many fertile women as possible.
At this point I feel the need to point out the irony of the fact that the only reason Sam Hell was arrested was because of the tiny trail of many pregnant women he left on his way as a scavenger. What’s more, Sam and Spangle show instant romantic tension despite their hostile introductions, allowing for a healthy amount of comic relief.
