“(Wonderland window) is primarily about love. It’s a great love story, but it’s not sentimental,” he explained. “It’s fun, it’s funny, it’s fast and furious. It’s really well written (with) good dialogue, but it has the happy ending you want at the end of the day when you’re watching a Christmas movie. It’s a feel-good movie. You want to see everyone get what they want in the end. And spoiler alert: they do!”

Bethany Joy Lenz, Venus Terzo
PunchIn the main role: Bethany Joy Lenz, John Reardon

The Vibe: Holiday heart
Why you must watch (again).: Who doesn’t like a little magic during the holidays? This heartwarming Hallmark star Bethany Joy Lenz as Christine, a struggling single mother down on her luck: she’s just been fired from her job, is facing eviction, and her slimy ex-husband is taking her to court to take care of their children. Think it can’t get any worse? Poorly. Christine has also just lost a precious family heirloom that was passed down by her father when she was a little girl.
As she tries to pick up the pieces of her life, she finds unexpected support in a handsome stranger—and bakery owner—named Jason (John Reardon), with whom he shares an unexpected connection. With her newfound family, Christine’s luck slowly begins to change just in time for Christmas.
Lenz has never made a Christmas movie that isn’t worth watching, but in this story of love, hope, and the importance of kind leadership even in the most difficult of circumstances, she delivers an exceptionally stunning performance. Smash the tissues because this is a ripper.
Chyler Leigh, Paul Campbell

The Vibe: Laughs all the way

That’s exactly what Hallmark serves A winter wonderlandwhich follows department store decorators Sloan (Leigh) and Jake (Campbell) as they vie for their dream job dressing McGuire’s windows for Christmas. But as the competition heats up, so does their attraction to each other – causing their rivalry to become even more complicated.
A winter wonderland it has everything: witty dialogues, a stellar cast, an impressive budget and fantastic chemistry between the two leads. bonus? The film serves up the iconic trope up close when Sloan and Jake find themselves locked up at the McGuires and forced to spend the night together.
Merritt Patterson, Steve Lund
PunchIn the main role: Merritt Patterson, Steve Lund
Year: 2017
The Vibe: Honey, it’s cozy inside
Why you must watch (again).: Nothing screams the holidays like a magical Christmas cottage that will bring you happiness until death. IN Christmas cottageLacey (Merritt Patterson) will take a break from his busy life as an architect to serve as her best friend’s bridesmaid during her winter wedding. Her biggest responsibility? Decorate the bride Ava (Brittney Wilson) family cottage, so it is ready for the stay of the newlyweds after the ceremony.
Clearly, Lacey can’t decorate alone! She is forced to work with her ex-boyfriend Ean (Steve Lund), who happens to be at a wedding. Legend has it that “everyone who’s ever stayed here during Christmas has found true love,” which both Lacey and Ean believe—though they don’t say it out loud. When a couple are stranded at a cabin before their wedding, they are forced to find out if their feelings for each other last.
If you’ve never seen this Hallmark hit, get ready for a cozy atmosphere, lots of Christmas decorations, and a surprisingly grown-up breakup scene — spoiler: Lacey isn’t single when she arrives at the cabin! If this movie doesn’t make you want to run away to the mountains and rent a cabin for the holidays, we don’t know what will.
Andrew W. Walker, Ashley Greene
PunchIn the main role: Ashley Greene, Andrew Walker
Year: 2019
The Vibe: All Is Not Calm — All Is Bright
Why you must watch (again).: Amnesia, wedding dresses and romance with Andrew Walker — Ugh, we mean Zach Callahan, played by Walker — three reasons to revisit this classic. Christmas on my mind follows Lucy Lovett (Ashley Greene) after hitting her head while holding her wedding dress. When she wakes up, she goes to see her fiancé Zach, only they are not engaged. They actually broke up two years ago, but Lucy doesn’t remember anything.
Zach is a good guy, or so he seems, so he helps Lucy get home to her new fancy house and awkwardly meets her new fiancé Brad (Clayton James). But Lucy doesn’t understand why she broke up with Zach, so on doctor’s orders she returns to their hometown to celebrate the holidays and try to jog her memory. Let’s just say that the moment Lucy’s memories come back, they aren’t what she thought they would be.
Even though there is a bit of deception on Zach’s part in this movie, we can’t help but dislike the fated lovers story. Lucy and Zach are perfect for each other – so who are we to judge how they got back together. In addition to the dreamy romance, film sets, Christmas trees by the sea and a snowman building competition return to us year after year.
