Mary Brown gives Our an inside look behind the scenes Sister’s Wives.
“There are so many good memories,” Brown, 53, told the exclusive My Weekly in December. “When I sledded down the hill and landed on the other side of the snow shed. I don’t even know what you call it.”
Meri has starred in the TLC series since its premiere in 2010 alongside her ex-husband Cody Brown, Janelle Brown, Christine Brown and Robyn Brown. While Meri has become a pro in front of the camera over the past 19 seasons, she admits that the first day of filming took her by surprise.
“I was just thinking about that very first scene when I was introduced, I didn’t expect the cameras to be there,” she recalled. “I didn’t know they were there. I would be a little more prepared.”
After more than 30 years of marriage, Kody and Meri Brown worked through more than one major problem before confirming their split in 2023. When the show started, there were Meri, Janelle, 55, and Christine, 52. all married to Kody55, and was currently courting Robyn, whom he married in 2014. relationship dynamics have moved on a lot since then. Christine and Kody split in 2021, while Janelle and Kody announced the following year. While Meri prefers to get ready for the camera, she teased that Kody is the one who would most likely be the “goofball star.”
“Just because of all the things that actually come out of his mouth, it should be bullshit,” she joked.
While the Brown family has been open about their lives on screen, there are some topics Meri doesn’t like to talk about on the show.

As for who takes the longest to get ready, Meri admitted it’s a toss-up between her or Robyn.
“It always takes me an hour and a half to get ready,” she admitted.
While Kody is still married to Robyn, Janelle, Christine and Meri (aka the ex-wives club) have remained close as they continue to live as a family. Meri shared that over the years her favorite family gatherings had to be Thanksgiving their children were present. Meri and Kody have a son together, Leon (29). Kody is also the father of six children: Logan, 30, Maddie, 29, Hunter, 27, Gabriel, 23, and Savannah, 20, whom shares with Janelle. Kody and Christine also have six children together: Aspyn, 29, Mykelti, 28, Paedon, 26, Gwendlyn, 23, Ysabel, 21, and Truely, 14. fourth wife RobynKody shares son Solomon (13) and daughter Ariella (8). He also adopted Robyn’s little ones from her previous marriage: David, 24, Aurora, 22, and Breanna, 20. (Kody and Janelle were also parents to a son, Garrison, who died in March at age 25.)
“As the kids got older, they went off and did different things for different holidays,” Meri said. “But on Thanksgiving, almost everyone was always there.
Meri added that of all the women on the show, Christine was the “best” cook, but teased that she also did “some not so good things”.
