An international airport and a power plant in Yemen were among the targets of a series of airstrikes launched by Israel on Thursday.
Three people were killed and more than a dozen wounded in the attacks, according to Houthi-run media.
Footage from the capital’s Sannaa airport showed chaos inside the terminal as passengers fled, while an air traffic control tower was damaged.
While in the port city of Hodeidah, a power plant was attacked causing a large fire.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebel group called the attacks “barbaric.”
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its “fighter aircraft carried out intelligence-based strikes against military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime on the western coast and interior of Yemen.”
