“We were about 13 years old when we first met through mutual friends,” Vas said news.com.au in 2024. “Our families knew each other and introduced us, you could say. So we’ve known each other for a very long time.”

The Neighbors alum debuted their romance via Instagram.
“What a journey this year has been. So grateful for each day ❤️” she wrote on the photo with Ricci in Beverly Hills.
That same month, Ricci introduced Vas at his Instagram. “Baddy,” he captioned a round of photos with her in West Hollywood, California.

In January, Vas and Ricci released their joint “Tayo and Scars” TikTok page where they began documenting their relationship and poking fun at their status as dating step-siblings.
