It perfectly captures Hobi’s gangly frame from the film, and it’s clear that Bandai had a lot of fun going to town with Hobi’s sloppy yet intricately detailed jacket and suit.

But our favorite was the Disney creation, which was so high that it gave everyone a present Alien A panel in Hall H at Comic-Con this year: the swimming mask. Which is perfect, right? Facehuggers literally jump on someone’s face and hug it like a mask, so masking it is both an accurate representation of the film on screen and a fun costume element. Whoever comes up with the idea deserves a raise.
Hasbro Haslab Star Wars Vintage Collection Nightmare
A very new entry on this list, but Hasbro’s greatest yet Star Wars Haslab’s car is still an absolutely beautiful tribute to one of the best parts of the franchise Rebels. It’s not perfect by any means, whether it’s the compromises it has to make due to scale (it still looks bigger and wider than your entire body) or the baffling decision to include everyone but The asking price of the Sabine and Chopper set is a huge crowdfunding investment of $500. But it’s an absolute joy to play and packed with tons of detail inside and out to make it worth hours of playing.

Hasbro Transformers one Ultimate Energon Optimus Prime

It’s been a great year for the Black Series line, but its secret best strength came from an unexpected source: one of the figures revealed for the Acolyteand not even one of the countless Jedi. Instead, May stepped out of the shadows and into our hearts with a really great little toy. It beats the Black Series’ usual punch for accessories and feels like Hasbro has finally nailed the cloth elements with the hooded outfit fitting better than most Jedi outfits. Mezco One: 12 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
there is so many TMNT the number is set there, and it feels like we’ve had enough time to close the guys’ sewer house this year, and then thanks to the franchise’s 40th anniversary. But in a sea of half-shells, one set easily prevailed over the turtle brothers at Mezko’s One:12. With a fantastically detailed art style inspired by classic comics and beloved retro toys, excellent articulation, and a ton of cool accessories for each member of the team, this set is the best celebration of TMNT in a year full of similar efforts. at the party.
Lego Star Wars Luke’s Lightsaber
There was a lot of cool Lego Star Wars this year — every year, to be honest — but we can’t stop thinking about a free gift. Fans who ordered Jabba’s Sail Barge received a Lego lightsaber set, which made us wonder why Lego doesn’t do this ALL THE TIME. 1:1 props from Star Wars? In Lego? They are very cool. It’s such a good and simple idea that we can’t believe it hasn’t happened before. Also, the kit is designed to perfection, it even comes with its own kyber crystal.
