“What a great time working with the brilliant @bazluhrmann on his version of a classic film, Catch the thief for the September issue of @voguemagazine,” Haddon wrote via Instagram in August. “Brilliant director and photographer Baz, enthusiastic, creative, inclusive, was so damn fun to work with!”
She continued: “Loved working alongside the absolutely amazing, funny and mischievous @blakelively. Not only is Blake beautiful, inside and out, she’s generous with fixing my dress during the shoot, adjusting my fabulous @cartier jewelry (and) making sure I ‘sparkled’ during the shoot!”
Haddon went on to praise Fashion icon Anna Wintour for “pulling this exciting project together” with all the “tremendous talent” including Lively, 37, and Hugh Jackman.
Model Dayle Haddon died on Friday, December 28, aged 76, after a suspected carbon monoxide leak. Multiple outlets reported that local police officers discovered the apparent leak in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the home of My Life With the Walter Boys star Marc Blucas, after a 911 call. “The bright light that is Dayle has gone out in this earthly realm. I have no doubt that somewhere it shines as brightly as ever where it is most needed.” Haddon’s daughter, Ryan, he wrote via Instagram. “She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to everyone. Deeply creative and curious, gifted with beauty inside and out. Always kind and considerate.”
The 53-year-old journalist added: “During the interview, she could go to the deepest places and also rise to the highest heights of spiritual understanding. She lifted up so many people, saw their greatness that was sometimes hidden from them, and always built bridges with her own connections to help them ascend. She was the greatest champion of all. An inspiration to many.”
Ryan, whom Haddon shared with her ex-husband Glenn Souhamshe went on to explain how she planned to honor her mother’s legacy moving forward.

“I always believe in the timing of things. There are no accidents and certainly how we enter and leave this world is mystical and unknowable,” Ryan wrote in her post. “She was a high-hearted spiritual being who valued the development of her soul, so I know her journey here in this dimension must have been completed. I respect her. I bow to her. I appreciate all travels and adventures. I saw her being golden and always reaching for the Light in all areas of her life.”
Ryan re-shared her post on her Instagram Story with the caption, “Rest in the light mom. I’m so grateful that she should be her daughter and be her daughter for the rest of her life.”
Haddon was found unconscious inside Ryan and husband Marc BlucasPennsylvania farm after suspected carbon monoxide leak. A police investigation is underway.
