Liam Payne’s friend among 5 accused in Singer’s death: Report


Several people have reportedly been charged in connection with this Liam Paynedeath at age 31.

According to a local news five charges were filed in Argentina. Payne’s friend Roger Nores is among those facing manslaughter charges, along with Esteban Grassireceptionist at the CasaSur Palermo hotel and head of hotel security Gilda Martinová.

Brian Paizwaiter and CasaSur employee Ezequiel Pereyra were accused allegedly supplying drugs Payne before his death, according to the report. All five defendants were summoned to court.

The news broke in November three charges were laid in connection with Payne’s death. Nine raids were conducted in Buenos Aires City, and investigators collected testimony from hotel staff, family, friends and doctors. More than 800 hours of footage from security cameras and other public cameras were reviewed during the investigation. Prosecutors found “clear evidence of at least four instances of third-party narcotic supply and other facilitation of addictive consumption by Payne’s immediate circle during his stay at the hotel between October 13 and 16.”

Payne was found dead on October 16 after falling from the hotel’s third floor balcony. A preliminary autopsy reported “multiple trauma.” the cause of Payne’s deathincluding bleeding in his chest, skull and abdomen, and several drugs were reportedly found in his system. The incident was not ruled a suicide.

Nores previously spoke about his alleged involvement in Payne’s death, he said Daily Mail in November that he “never left” the former One Direction singer. “When I left, there were over 15 people chatting and joking with him in the hotel lobby. I never imagined something like this would happen. … I am truly heartbroken by this tragedy and miss my friend every day,” he claimed.

Earlier this month, Nores reportedly filed a complaint alleging that the CasaSur Palermo hotel did not properly protect Payne during his stay. “The world-renowned person was staying at that very moment with obvious signs that he was going through a drug-related crisis and was not even there to make up for his legal failure to have a 24-hour doctor,” read documents obtained by TMZ.

Nores claimed that the hotel manager was aware that Payne was intoxicated and claimed that a doctor should have been present from the time the singer checked in. He further accused staff of doing nothing to help Payne before his fatal fall.

Liam Payne’s friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores accuses the CasaSur Palermo hotel of being involved in the singer’s death. Payne was laid to rest in England a month after his death. He is survived by his parents, sisters and son Bear, whom he shared with his ex Cheryl Cole.
