Reaves, 28, asked for a girlfriend Mikaela Worthy on the field at Northwest Stadium v Landover, Maryland on Sunday, December 29, right after the Commanders beat the Atlanta Falcons 30-24 in overtime.
The entire design was captured by a Commanders fan on social networkswhich saw Reaves pull Worthy off the stand before dropping to one knee and pulling out the ring.
Good, clearly surprised, covered her mouth and knelt to the ground before saying “yes” and giving Reaves a kiss, much to the delight of the boisterous crowd.

Reaves wiped away Worthy’s tears as the two embraced and tried to capture the spectacular, surreal moment.

“I was on one of the worst a year ago,” Reaves said via Instagram on Monday, December 30. “A year later, you helped me get back to my best! Every time life knocked me down, you picked me back up and spoke life into me!”
In October 2023, Reaves had surgery to repair a partially torn ACL suffered in the Commanders’ Week 4 game against the Chicago Bears. Reaves would miss the rest of the season.
“You carried the weight when I couldn’t on some tough days (all that PA school definitely came in handy, lol!),” Reaves joked about Worthy’s physician’s assistant degree, which he earned last spring. “God doesn’t make mistakes and he gave you to me when I needed you the most! 8+ years of friendship, a lifetime as one! I meant it when I said 5 life! I love you Mikaela R Worley PA-C❤️.”
Reaves and Worthy first went public with their relationship in July 2023, sharing pictures via Instagram from a vacation to Pensacola Springs, Florida.

Todd Rosenberg via APWorthy has been a regular at Commanders games this season, which she reflected on via Instagram after Thanksgiving.
“So much to be thankful for this year🙏🏼these pictures don’t even begin to include everyone I’m thankful for… just know I love you all🥹,” Worthy shared on Nov. 28 alongside a carousel of photos, most of which included Reaves.
With Sunday’s win over the Falcons, the Commanders secured a spot in the playoffs. Washington closes the regular season on Sunday, Jan. 5 against the Dallas Cowboys before the NFL wild card playoffs begin on Saturday, Jan. 11.
