(Reuters) – Singapore Post has appointed Isaac Mah, the current CFO of its Australian business, as head of the finance group, the company said on Sunday, a week after it fired three senior executives, including Its CFO, in a whistle-blowing report.
Mah, who joined Singapore Post in 2019, recently oversaw the sale of the Australian business to private equity firm Pacific Equity Partners.
The Singapore Post Group fired CFO Vincent Yik last week, along with CEO Vincent Phang and the head of its international business unit (IBU), Li Yu, after they were found to be “negligent” in dealing with whistle report.
The misconduct reported by the spokesperson involved several employees who worked in the company’s international e-commerce business.
The Singapore Post also said that Gan Heng will step down as CEO of the international business division from his current role as head of the unit’s Southern region.
The Temasek-backed company said it would name the group’s CEO “in the near future”.
