G-UNIT50 cents promised fans a surprise on his Las Vegas residency, delivering a stellar performance during the third show of his six-day run at PH Live at the Planet Hollywood Hotel.
Midway through the set, after plowing through crowd favorites like “21 Questions” and “Many Men (Wish Death),” 50 Cent, 49, teased, “I told you I had a surprise tonight. You’re not ready for this.”
Bystanders narrate Our from the program on Monday, December 30: “The energy in the room was electric as the packed crowd eagerly anticipated what – or who – might be next. Turn on dimming lights and splash tones T-Pain‘Buy a drink (Shawty Snappin’).’”
A concertgoer notes that “the crowd erupted” when T-Pain, 40, took the stage.
“T-Pain’s powerful performance of his classics – including ‘I’m Sprung’ and ‘Bartender’ – turned the concert into a full-fledged party,” says an onlooker.
Fans sang along as T-Pain and 50 Cent performed a surprise mashup of “Can’t Believe It” and “Best Friend” to the delight of the crowd. Just when the crowd thought they had seen it all, 50 Cent upped the ante.
“Wait, we’re not done yet!” he shouted. The arena went crazy DaBaby stormed the stage for a fiery performance of his hits “Suge” and “Rockstar.” 50 Cent and DaBaby, 33, then joined forces for a dynamic rendition of “Ball If I Want To,” making the night one to remember.
The surprise didn’t end there. To close the show, Jeremiah appeared on stage to perform “Down on Me” with 50 Cent, rekindling memories of their chart-topping collaboration. Jeremih, 37, kept the vibe alive with a soulful medley of his solo hits, including “Birthday Sex” and “Don’t Tell ‘Em.”
By the end of the night, fans were talking about the surprise guests and 50 Cent’s ability to keep them guessing.
“This is Vegas — you gotta go big or go home,” the rapper joked as he wrapped up the show.
In addition to star portraits, well-known personalities appeared in the audience. Boy meets the world alum Danielle Fishel was in attendance and asked to meet 50 Cent backstage.
With three more shows to go – 50 Cent is scheduled to take the stage on December 31st, January 3rd and January 4th – fans can only speculate what surprises the final shows may hold. If Monday’s show was any indication, 50 Cent’s residency is destined to leave an indelible mark on the Las Vegas Strip.
