“Coach Prime” had time on Monday to denounce on social media “multiple IDIOTS” who believe they know where he wants his children, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, to go. play in the NFL.
Deion Sanders, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloesposted his thoughts on X after seeing other social media users suggesting teams they specifically don’t want Shedeur to play on.
Week 17 brought with it a major shakeup in the 2025 NFL Draft order, as the New York Giants, owners of the No. 1 overall pick, surprisingly beat the Indianapolis Colts to drop to the No. 4 spot on the list.

If the season ended Monday, the New England Patriots would own the first overall pick after taking Drake Maye third in April.
“There will be multiple IDIOTS who will say things that are not entirely true about where I would like @ShedeurSanders and @ShiloSanders to play in the @nfl,” Sanders tweeted. “If I say it, I’ll say it directly to whom it concerns, not to the attention seeker. I know @nflcommish personally!”
The significance of the NFL Draft talk comes after Shedeur was seen wearing custom Giants cleats before his final Buffaloes game against BYU, a 36-14 loss in the Valero Alamo Bowl.
DEION SANDERS ADAMANT HIS SON SHEDEUR WILL BE THE NO. 1 GENERAL PICK IN THE NFL DRAFT
And that came after video of Shedeur on the practice field went viral after he said, “We know where we’re going, you’ll see them in the cleats later this week.”
With the Giants in need of a franchise quarterback after Daniel Jones was waived midseason, Shedeur, considered a possible first overall pick in April, was among those linked to the team.
Those connections continued when Shedeur was seen catching Giants star rookie receiver Malik Nabers on the streets of New York City, as the former was in town to visit his teammate. travis hunterHeisman Trophy Ceremony.

But now, the Tennessee Titans, another quarterback-needy team with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph failing to solidify the role, sit above the Giants in the draft order at No. 2 overall.
One could even argue that the Cleveland Browns, owners of the third overall pick, could be chasing a quarterback even with Deshaun Watson signed for the next few years.
As for Shilo, there are questions about whether the 6-foot, 195-pound defensive back will be selected in the draft. He has strong tackling traits, but his coverage skills are poor in the eyes of experts.
But Coach Prime has made it clear that he believes Shedeur will be taken with the first overall pick, and has even suggested that he would step in if the right structure isn’t in place in an organization drafting his son.

Time will tell to see if that comes to fruition, an Eli Manning situation, if you will, but the process has already begun for Shedeur, Shilo and the rest of the NFL prospects who will no longer play college games this season.
