Marvin Gaye IIIthe eldest son of the legendary singer Marvin Gayeis accused of assault, battery, false imprisonment and more in the new lawsuit.
According to court documents filed Thursday, Dec. 26 in Los Angeles and obtained My Weeklythe plaintiff, identified only as Jane Doe, claims she was called to Gaye’s home in January 2023 to mediate an argument between him and his then-wife. Wendy.

At one point, Gaye “deliberately restrained her in a guest room by physically blocking her exit and threatening her with harm,” according to court documents.
The unnamed woman claims his “dangerous” behavior was “extreme, outrageous and beyond the bounds of decency”.
The lawsuit also accuses Gaye of orchestrating “acts of intimidation,” including “tampering with (her) vehicle by hitting the brakes and arranging for his associates to follow (her) home.”
As a direct result of Gaye’s alleged behavior, the woman claims in court documents that she suffered severe emotional distress including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, insomnia and a weight loss of between 24 and 30 pounds.
He claims he has to have security for family events and lives in “constant fear” for the safety of himself and his loved ones.
The defendant is asking the court for an undisclosed amount of damages, attorney’s fees and requests that the court prohibit Gaye from further harassment or contact with her.
When contacted for comment on the allegations, Gaye said Our: “No way that happened. It’s all bulls—. I wouldn’t do that. Those are false claims.” He also said he was previously unaware of any lawsuit.
Gaye, who revealed he is recovering from several strokes, believes he knows who the accuser is and claims he is “trying to get money out of me”.
This is not the first time Gaye has faced shocking allegations in court.
