“Kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voices don’t matter. Their pain doesn’t count,” shares a source close to the matter My Weekly. “They’ve wanted (Angelina) to speak up for themselves, to defend themselves over the years, but she’s reminding them to focus on changing laws before telling public stories.”
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016 after two years of marriagereferring to irreconcilable differences. The pair share six children: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

On Monday, December 30 Our confirmed that Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, finally signed their divorce.
“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt,” Jolie’s lawyer James Simon Hersh Mannis said Our. “She and the children have left all the properties they shared with Mr. Pitt and have since focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that began eight years ago. Honestly, Angelina is exhausted, but she’s relieved that this part is over.”
A rep for Pitt declined to confirm or comment on the settled divorce.

Before the divorce settlement, Jolie celebrated her starring role in the film Pablo Larrain‘with Maria Callas biopic, Maria. While discussing the project, the actress shared the similarities and differences between herself and her character.
“I have a family,” she told The Sunday Times earlier this month. “Maria had no family, so her work was everything. My work is not everything. Being a parent is everything.”
When it comes to dating, Pitt has been linked to a jewelry designer Ines de Ramon from 2022. The source previously said Our in October that Jolie, meanwhile, is “focusing on her family and is not dating at this time.”
