Many movies, TV shows, albums and other celebrations are celebrating major milestones in 2025.
Favorite TV series The Gilmores will celebrate 25 years this year. The WB drama, which ran for seven seasons, premiered in 2000 and starred in it Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as the iconic mother-daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.
In honor of the series’ 15th anniversary, a miniseries revival titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life dropped on Netflix in 2016. As time went on, the show remained prominent in pop culture as it became a popular replay, especially during the fall.
2025 is also a year The sound of music will celebrate 60 years since its foundation. Classics Julie Andrews-led musical still warms the heart and is also a popular rewatch during the holidays.
