Michael Allius rings in the new year by introducing his girlfriend, Jade Marie Chapman.
“We met in 2021 and became instant friends,” began the long 40-year-old Allio Instagram headline on Thursday, January 2. “Throughout the years, we have remained just that – always there for each other at any hour, sharing a laugh when life was hard and offering support when it was most needed. Above all, there is something special about being friends. It sounds obvious, but I never experienced it until I met her.”
The former reality TV star gushed that he “felt unconditional love and was able to give it back” “for the first time in forever.”
“From the moment I wake up, she is in my thoughts, lifting my hope and filling my heart,” Allio wrote. “She is the light that shines through the cracks, seamlessly fitting into our lives and completing our family in ways I never imagined possible.”

Allio noted that Chapman has developed “such a strong bond” with his 8-year-old son James, which he called “one of the greatest joys.” (Allio welcomed a son, James, with his late wife Laurawho died in 2019 after a battle with breast cancer.)
“Watching their relationship grow has brought me incomparable happiness — as if she should have been with us all along,” Allio wrote. “Here’s to love, friendship and a beautiful journey ahead with my best friend by my side.” ❤️Happy New Year friends.”
In addition to the heartfelt message, Allio shared several clips and photos from his relationship with Chapman. The Instagram video began with the words: “January 2024.” In one clip, the couple slow-danced, and in a separate video, they sweetly hugged each other as they sat in the sand on a beach.
The post came days after Allio teased his romance with Chapman. In an Instagram video shared on December 25, Allio decorated a Christmas tree with James while a mystery woman – now identified as Chapman – entered the frame.

Bachelor Nation he met Allio while vying for affection Katie Thurston in season 17 Bachelor. After his removal, Allio tried to find love again on the beaches of Mexico Bachelor in Paradise.
During the 8th season of the spinoff show – which aired in 2022 – Allio found a connection with Danielle Maltby. While Maltby, 39, didn’t leave the beach with the ring on her finger, she and Allio watched their romance outside the show. A year later, the couple announced their separation.
“I guess I’ll just go with it. We’re not together anymore,” Allio said during the September 2023 episode Jason Tartick“Trading Secrets” podcast. “It’s not what we planned. We both put a lot into the relationship and it’s really terrible when it doesn’t work out.”

Maltby dealt with the split via social media a few days later. “This separation was not a mutual decision leading to any perception of incompatibility,” she said. “However, I hope for the best for Michael and will always have (his son) James in my heart as we go our separate ways.”
She continued: “I know so many people have been rooting for Michael and me and I really appreciate your support. I don’t regret for a second the love I gave.’
Maltby has since moved in with her own mystery man. On Wednesday, January 1st, a post shared via InstagramMaltby wrote: “things I bring into the new year 🌙 🫶🏼🔮 and I honor every journey here. happy new year to you all😘.”
Maltby shared video clips and images – one of which included a black and white image of her seemingly kissing another man. She captioned the video “New Relationship”.
