Karen Gillan she is officially a baby girl’s mom!
The Guardians of the Galaxy the actress, 37, revealed on Instagram on Thursday, January 2 that she welcomed her first child with her husband Nick Kocher at the end of 2024.
“Thank you 2024 for giving us Clementine 🍊,” Gillan shared alongside a series of cute photos revealing baby Clementine for the first time. In one image, the Scottish-born actress is seen holding her newborn, who sweetly rests his head on his mother’s shoulder. Another photo shows Kocher holding Clementine. A third photo shows the new parents holding mugs that read “Best Dad Ever” and “Best Mom Ever.”
Gillan continued in her caption: “Also from the last pic – I made a movie called ‘Let’s Have Babies’ right after I got preggo in real life so take that Daniel Day-Lewis.” The final image of Gillan’s post shows her on a film set, sitting at the feet of a person about to give birth.
Former Doctor Who star her baby bump debuted last September during the red carpet premiere of her film, The Life of Chuckat the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2024. The actress wore a yellow bodycon dress and held her stomach as she posed alongside for a photo shoot at the Prince of Wales Theatre. The Life of Chuck costars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tom Hiddleston.
Gillan married Kocher in May 2022 when the couple secretly tied the knot at Castle Toward in Scotland.
