Lorraine, 34, recaps the holiday and posted a series of snaps, including one of her cuddling up with her famous dad, 87, via Instagram on Thursday, January 2.
“The season of giving 🎁,” she captioned the post.
Lorraine is Nicholson’s daughter with his ex-girlfriend, an actress and model Rebecca Broussard. The former couple welcomed their daughter together in April 1990; Broussard later gave birth to a son, Raymond Nicholsn, in February 1992.

Lorraine, a graduate of Brown University and a former Miss Golden Globe, has followed in her father’s footsteps and appeared in several films over the years, including 2004’s The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement, 2006 Clickyear 2011 Soul Surferand 2016 Hacker.
In 2011, Lorraine exposed My Weekly that Jack played a part in her desire to pursue acting.
“He’s my mentor,” she said exclusively Our at that time. “I’m going into the family business because we’re so close and he’s such an inspiration. I admire him a lot.”
She also opened up about the importance of modesty in the industry.
“My grandmother always told my father, ‘Don’t toot your own horn,’ which in Nicholson parlance means ‘Be humble and let your work do the talking,'” Lorraine said. “That’s something I’ve applied not only to my acting work, but to my day-to-day work as well.”

She wrote about her childhood in an essay for Vanity Fair in February 2024 and shared that she visited often Hugh Hefner Playboy Mansion as a child.
“I knew the Mansion was not for children, but I didn’t ask,” she wrote.
Lorraine added: “I’ve never gone to summer camp. I never had any extracurricular activities,” she recalled. “From the year I was born, 1990, until I was 11, I went to the Playboy Mansion because my friends were there.

Meanwhile, Jack talked about his experiences of fatherhood in a 2010 interview AARP magazinesharing how close he is to Lorraine and Ray.
“We’ve always gotten along,” he told the paper. “I want to be inspirational or have some good influence on them without overwhelming them. It’s the time of their lives to find out who they are.’
Jack fathered six children. In addition to Lorraine and Ray, Jack welcomed Jennifer Nicholson in 1963 with his ex-wife Sandra Knight. Jack’s Five easy pieces costar Susan Anspach she gave birth to her first son, Caleb Goddardin 1970.
Daughter Honey Hollman arrived in 1981, whose mother is a model Winnie Hollman. Jennine Gourin gave birth to Jack’s youngest daughter, Tessa Gourinin 1994. (Jack and Tessa have been estranged for most of their lives. In 2023, Tessa said The Daily Beast that Jack “wasn’t interested” in being in a relationship with her, adding, “I don’t know the person very well, let’s just say that.”)
