Jennifer Sheffield celebrated the positives about her and Brandon SheffieldDivorce in ominous TikTok post weeks before they were both found dead, which authorities say is obvious murder-suicide.
“So I’m going to be a newly single mother. I’m in the middle of a divorce,” Jennifer said video shared via TikTok Dec 10, 2024. “My husband is incredible, but really, really… we work together. Everything is great.”
The 30 year old TikTok personality she looked upbeat and happy while filming the video while driving down the Mississippi.
“We split everything down the middle. Everything is good,” she said at the time about her relationship with her estranged husband Brandon (40). “It’s a very civil divorce with our daughter in mind.
Jennifer admitted that since she was about to being a “single income” mother she turned to her network for tips on how to cut costs.
She noted that Brandon will “help out” with their daughter’s fees once the divorce is finalized. “She’s going to be supportive, so basically I’m really grateful for that and that I won’t have to worry about supporting her as much,” Jennifer continued.
However, she pointed out that she would be on a “very limited income” with the new house purchase and expressed concern about turning away from Brandon, saying: “I’ve never done that before. I’ve never been alone before.”
Jennifer concluded, “If you have any tips, I’d really appreciate it because I’m a little scared right now.”
The positive news about her relationship with Brandon in the midst of their divorce was shared 18 days before Jennifer and Brandon were found dead on December 28, 2024 in Brandon, Mississippi at around 7:19 am local time. Authorities arrived at the scene after receiving a call from Jennifer’s family reporting signs of foul play.
The police chief reportedly told the newspaper that “it appears that Brandon Sheffield shot Jennifer Sheffield and then shot himself,” adding that authorities are working on the theory that their deaths were the result of an apparent murder-suicide.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” French told the ABC affiliate WJTV in a statement dated December 28. “I would like to thank the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation for their assistance with the crime scene unit in processing the crime scene.”
Before her death, Jennifer documented her life as a mother in Mississippi, who she was focused on get into medical school. She had over 6,500 followers and over 100,000 likes on her more recent videos.
