Brianne Howey Teases ‘Surprising’ Ginny & Georgia Season 3

Get ready, peaches – Ginny and Georgia season 3 will bring a lot of twists and turns.

“We’re seeing a whole new side to Ginny and Georgia,” the star Brianne Howey exclusively speaking My Weekly in 2025 WWD Style Awards on Friday 3 January. “I feel like (it’s) surprising because we’ve seen so much of their site, but look, there’s more.”

Thirty-five-year-old Howey portrayed the titular Georgia multi-season Netflix drama about a young single mother who moves her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts after a scandalous past. Ginny and Georgia stars too Antonia Gentry (Georgia’s daughter, Ginny), Diesel La Torraca (Georgian’s son, Austin), Felix Mallard (Felix Baker), Sara Waisglass (Maxine Baker), Scott Porter (Paul Randolph) and Raymond Ablack (Joe).

A third season was renewed in May 2023 with few details confirmed beyond that latest batch of episodes will hit the streaming giant later this year.

While speaking with Our on Friday, Howey teased just three adjectives to sum up the storylines.

“Oh my God: It’s uplifting and heartbreaking and hysterical,” Howey joked.

Ginny and Georgia season 2 dropped on Netflix in 2023, in which Georgia and Austin finally discover their mother’s murderous past. In the finale, Georgia is arrested on her and Paul’s wedding day for murdering Cynthia of Wellsbury’s husband. (Georgia kills her frenemy’s terminally ill husband after learning that Cynthia blocked Austin’s father Gil’s request to move to Wellsbury.)

“Did you believe it? It comes from a good place,” Howey said earlier Our in January 2023. “He’s trying to get this man out of his misery and trying to help this woman move on and not feel guilty about it and trying to keep this image of Zach’s father intact for Zach.” But yes, that’s exactly what ruins the house of cards.’

Now that filming for the third season has wrapped, Howey has been enjoying red carpet glamor at events such as WWD Style awards and quiet moments in her home life with her 18-month-old daughter and husband, Matt Ziering. (Howey she gave birth in June 2023 (but she hasn’t shared her daughter’s name publicly.)

“My happy place is with my daughter,” she gushed on Friday before sharing Ziering’s most romantic moment. “Maybe it was a few years ago, but he surprised me with (a) hotel room and flowers and champagne and (you really can’t go wrong with that.”)
