Lively, 37, will attend the annual awards ceremony on Sunday, January 5, amid an ongoing legal battle with her. It ends with us costar and director Justin Baldoni. But it’s not just Lively who’s missing from the event — her husband Reynolds, 48, and his Deadpool and Wolverine actor Jackman will not attend the Golden Globes this year either.
According to PeriodLively, Reynolds and Jackman decided not to attend the awards ceremony on Sunday long before It ends with us the legal battle and their absence from the ceremony are unrelated to the ongoing scandal.
Chances are there won’t even be a mention of It Ends With Us at the awards show this weekend. Comedian Nikki Glaserwho has been chosen to host this year’s Golden Globes, has already made it clear that she won’t be joking. The Lively-Baldoni “hot button” problem on Sunday.
“I think the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni thing is such a hot thing right now that even mentioning it will make it seem like I might be on the wrong side of things, even though I never would be,” Glaser, 40, told Yahoo ! “We plan to release every single text message between the two of them. We want the truth out there,” Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman he told NBC News on Thursday. “We want the documents to be there. We want people to make decisions based on receipts.”
