The British actor (41) appeared alongside Kerry Washington to announce the nominations for best actor in a motion picture — musical/comedy at the ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 5 in Los Angeles, where he donned glasses to better read the teleprompter — and Garfield’s thirst trap made him the first contender for one best friends of the internet the year 2025.
Admittedly, a few things helped sex up this seemingly innocuous moment: Garfield’s dark green Gucci suit looked perfect on him, especially with the matching shirt, which happened to be slightly unbuttoned to reveal a cute pendant. Above all, there’s the fact that Garfield is a man who really knows how to hold eye contact and flirt with the camera – who can forget that iconic Chicken trade date appearance?
