Cast and crew Baby reindeer had an evening to remember Golden Globes 2025.

However, Gadd had the opportunity to thank fans of the show when he and Baby reindeer cast and crew accepted the award for Best Limited Anthology Series or Movie Made for Television.
“The way you’ve received this show means the absolute world to me. Us,” he said in his acceptance speech. “Right now, when the world is the way it is and people are really struggling, we need stories that speak to the complicated and difficult nature of our times. Any story, if done right, is universal, and all the weird, quirky struggles we go through every day deserve to be put on screen like any other.”
Before any prizes were awarded on Sunday, January 5 at Beverly HiltonBoth Gadd and Gunning expressed gratitude for the recognition by the Hollywood foreign press.
“I’m more than excited about it Baby reindeer has been nominated for three Golden Globes,” Gadd said in a statement in December 2024, when the nominations were first announced. “Almost every year I have watched this event with the hope that one day I will be in the audience and sit among the best in the business and be roasted on an international scale. So it’s a dream come true.”

Gadd found himself up against several Hollywood legends including Colin Farrell (Penguin), Kevin Kline (Disclaimer), Cooper Koch (Monsters: The Story of Lyle and Erik Menendez), Ewan McGregor(Gentleman in Moscow) a Andrew Scott (Ripley).
Gunning was equally excited to be in the same category as Liza Colon-Zayas (Bear), Hannah Einbinder (hacks), Dakota Fanning (Ripley), Allison Janney (Diplomat) a Kali Reis (True Detective: Nightland).
“Words really can’t express how excited I am to be nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress – alongside some of my idols, no less!” she said in December 2024. “I think I might need someone to pinch me to make sure I’m not eating.”
Baby reindeerwhich first premiered in April 2024, follows a comedian named Donny (Gadd) as he deals with stalker Martha (Gunning).
Donny’s tense situation takes a toll on his relationships with friends and family and forces him to confront past traumas.

The the success of the show surprised many including Gadd, who also serves as creator.
“I remember thinking, ‘Maybe someone could look at it (over) the weekend. Maybe I’ll get a couple of texts.’ But literally the second it went off, my phone exploded,” Gadd said in June 2024 Today with Hoda and Jenna. “It felt like overnight that everyone was talking about us all of a sudden — talking about us, talking about the show. And then it just started going No. 1 in all these countries around the world. It was just crazy.”
