Is Teófimo López on Top Rank’s blacklist?

Teófimo López took to social media today to complain about Top Rank, saying that “too expensive” for them and blaming the president, Todd Debouf.

Lopez claims Duboef doesn’t “like” him or his father since 2018, which is why he hasn’t gotten the big games he wants. Fans see this more as a case of Teofimo (21-1, 13 KOs) failing to perform.

He lost to George Kambosos Jr. and has struggled in many fights since moving to 140 pounds in 2022. He sounds crazier and crazier with his rants on social media, talking about this and that.

Teófimo says he wants his “purchase number.“That’s something you already asked for in a recent post on X.

Past performance

WBO light welterweight champion Lopez, 27, wants fights against Devin Haney, Terence Crawford, Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia and Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. However, these struggles have been unattainable until now. He’s not popular enough to get them, and his many mediocre performances over the past four years have contributed to that.

Top Rank has been maintaining Teofimo’s head above the waterline. because of how they have matched it in the last four years. If they had gotten him into fights with some of the murderers he complained about, he would have lost many times and would be useless to them. Anyway, it practically is. Teófimo’s comments outside the ring make it difficult to like him and some fans question his sanity.
