It was uneventful CES 2025 Samsung announced the January 22 date for its next Unpacked event at a press conference on Monday. The timing coincides with the previous report.
The event, streamed live via Samsung’s website, will almost certainly serve as the launch pad for the company’s latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S25. The event comes a few days after last year’s Unpacked, which debuted the S24 on January 17.
In recent years, Samsung has moved to a six-month flagship release cycle, starting with the Galaxy S line in January, followed by the latest versions of the foldable Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold midway through the year.
It’s very similar Monday press conferencethe company will likely spend much of the event mapping out its “Galaxy AI” plan, an attempt to integrate generative artificial intelligence into its phones — essentially Samsung’s take on Google Gemini and Apple Intelligence.
