Cody Brown he let his walls down during the last episode Sister’s Wives and shared the truth about when he lost his virginity.
“You want to know the craziest thing?” Kody, 55, asked viewers during the Sunday, Jan. 5, episode of the TLC series. “I had a boyfriend in college and it was a little experiment.
The reality star admitted he was a “naughty boy based on my faith” because of his slackers at school. “I had a relationship in college where I lost my virginity,” he shared. “It was devastating for me. It was heartbreaking.”
Kody explained that because “purity” is “everything”. the church of his childhoodsex outside of marriage mess with him. “It’s like you work your way back for it,” he told the cameras, repeating, “It’s devastating.”
Codes — which continued father of 15 children with his four wives—revealed that “nobody knew” about his hookup in college except his first wife Mary Brown and fourth wife Robyn Brown.
“It was really because I don’t believe I ever got close enough to (my other wives) Christine (Brown) and Janelle (Brown) to tell them,” he continued, noting that Robyn, 46, found out about his past within “the first month we knew each other.”
Kody said his ability to tell Robyn such intimate details about his life was because he “felt safe” with her from the beginning.
“I’m not safe with them. they are not safe with me” he said of Janelle (55) and Christine (52).

Kody’s confession was prompted by a conversation he had with Robyn during the episode about whether he ever loved his first three wives completely. (Christine and Kody split in November 2021. Janelle announced the split in December 2022, and Meri, 53, confirmed their breakup in January 2023.)
“You were in love when you took them, and like when you were together, right, like in the beginning?” Robyn asked her husband.
Before answering his wife, he grinned and said, “Don’t make me compare, please.” Kody explained that he “didn’t know” what it was like “really have deep divine love” until Robyn came into his life.
“I’m crazy about those ex-wives,” Kody said during the confessional, stating, “We all rewrite the past. I mean, Meri’s rewriting it like crazy. I’m rewriting it, I’m sure, because yeah, I probably loved them. I convinced Robyn I was in love with them.”
Kody added that he had to “sell” Robyn on the idea that his family was “something special” because once it fell apart, she “played with it.”
When he later told Robyn that he needed her to “let it go” and “not hold it against him” that he was no longer in love with his exes. He claimed that he “agreed” with Christine, Janelle and Meri that their respective relationships had lapsed.
“I’m not trying to be cruel to Robyn. and yet it’s just heartbreaking her when reality finally hits right in front of her,” Kody concluded.
