Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Michelle Siemienowski gave worried fans an update after being hit in the head by a tackle while working on the touchline.
Siemienowski was hit by a Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey‘s fumble during the second quarter of the team’s game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, January 5th. Cheerleader fell to the ground after being hit in the back of the head by a football as she faced the crowd.
The first-year cheerleader managed to laugh off the incident, even as a tear was visibly streaming down her face. She was immediately taken care of by members of the DCC unit and the commanders punters Tress Waywho happened to be standing nearby.
“I’m fine everyone 🥲,” Siemienowski shared via her Instagram Story on Sunday night.
The entire incident was captured by cameras for Fox Sports, which broadcast the game. “At least he’s smiling,” the analyst Mark Sanchez he said. “Ouch.” Those game balls are no joke.”
Siemienowski earned praise from Fox Sports’ social team, which posted a video of her being hit by a ball through the X on Sunday.
“Shout at this. #DallasCowboys Cheerleader for hitting like a champ 💪” they shared.
Siemienowski, who wrapped up her rookie season as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader on Sunday, also received well wishes from the cheerleading community.
Los Angeles Rams cheerleader Skylar Yeung she wrote via her Instagram story: “You are such a trooper 🥹I love you 😗.”
“We were so worried about you! You did it like a pro. We love you Ski,” he wrote via the Instagram Story of the Danceology Performing Arts Campus, where Siemienowski studied.
Siemienowski’s Cowboys teammate Kelly Villares she wrote via her Instagram Story: “You are a champion.”
In July, Siemienowski revealed that she had been selected as a member of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad for the 2024-2025 season.
“Can’t believe I’m saying this… I’m officially a DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADER 💙⭐️,” she wrote via Instagram. “This has been my dream for as long as I can remember.
Siemienowski added: “Thank you to my parents, family and friends for being so supportive and encouraging throughout this process. Thank you God as I have prayed everyday for this blessed new chapter in my life. It was the most life-changing experience, but it’s just the beginning. I am so grateful to be able to say that I have achieved my dreams and earned my shoes!👢⭐️.”
