Zendaya and Tom Holland they’ve kept their romance relatively private, but fans know the two have a long history.
The actors met while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and dating rumors quickly followed. However, their relationship was not directly confirmed until July 2021, when they were spotted packing on a PDA in a Dutch car in Los Angeles.
Shortly after the relationship – which had been rumored for years – was confirmed, an insider exclusively said My Weekly that Marvel stars friendship formed a solid foundation for their romantic relationship.
“Zendaya and Tom started out as really great friends and stayed that way until things turned romantic,” the source revealed, adding that “they work really well together because he makes her laugh and she really helps guide him through the celebrity world.”
