RHOBH Update Dorit Kemsley Hopes for PK Marriage in 'Next 6 Months'

Real Housewives of Beverly HillsDorit Kemsley gives an update on her marriage with PK Kemsley.

“We’re standing exactly where we were at the very beginning,” said Dorit, 48, on Tuesday, July 7. RHOBH after show upon inquiry where she and PK stand after announcing their separation in May 2024.

Dorit continued: “There is movement, but it’s not just forward – it’s left to right. I’d like to go forward and I’m constantly trying to push that forward.”

“Ask me in six months. Hopefully I’ll have a better answer,” she added, adding that she and PK, 57, have “work to do” to resolve issues between them.

During Tuesday’s episode RHOBA, Dorit remembered costar Bozoma St. John in marriage counseling with PK, in which he allegedly yelled, “This is why I want a divorce and I don’t want to marry this woman.”

On After the showDorit described the alleged comments as a “dagger to the heart”.

“It wasn’t like, ‘Listen Dorit, I’ve reached a point in our marriage where I want a divorce.’ You don’t know if it’s reactionary. It’s like, ‘Wait a minute, this is the first time you’ve said that.’ Those are serious words,” she said. “I have a right to know your feelings. I don’t understand.”

As for whether the couple will get together or proceed with a divorceDorit isn’t sure.

“Am I getting ready for a divorce? am i not It’s such a mind-,” she explained to Bozom. “When we’ve reconciled (and) we’re calm, (he says), ‘Oh, please, I’m saying things!’ It’s so hard.’

Dorit also told Bozom that there is uncertainty about whether or not she and PK will divorce part of why she didn’t tell their kids — son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8 — about their separation.

“He and I have to figure it out so I can prepare them. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I didn’t want to tell them right away,” she confided. “It’s a game of ping-pong. I don’t want my kids to have to deal with that.”

Dorit and PK announced their separation last May after almost ten years of marriage. “As a couple, we have been the subject of much speculation about our marriage. We’ve had our struggles over the past few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together,” the couple wrote in a statement shared on Instagram. “To protect our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while prioritizing our children. We appreciate your love and support as we continue to do the work that is necessary on this journey. Love, Dorit and PK.”

talk to My Weekly exclusively before the premiere, Dorit said that she and PK have yet to discuss an actual divorce.

“We’re going through this period,” she explained. “I just really hope that no matter where we go — I think if we end up getting back together — there’s a lot of work to be done. You don’t get to that place and just want to jump back in the saddle without doing the work that you know is necessary to enjoy your marriage and have the communication that you really need.”
